What does that mean??

We have a new website start, meetings during the day, projects to work, dealines to meet. We are entrepreneurs and mothers and wives and household commanders all wrapped up in one. We are doing this on our own (or so we thought) with a lot of muscle and will power internally we will push this dream to where it’s supposed to be. Yea right. We were running ourself in circles and slowly into the ground.

When we started out on this crazy path we had a vision and dream of doing what we felt we were intended to do. As the to do list piled on and we found that there were so many parts of starting our vision of entrepreneurship that we hadn’t accounted for. I would look at the list of tasks at home and feel defeated. The house needed cleaned, the shopping needed done, kids needed mom time and well.. responsibility. I know very few if any of us have the luxury of hiring a professional nanny. After all this isn’t REALLY a fairy tale. So tenacity and sheer stubbornness finally played to my advantage here. What I am about to say next may terrify some but I believe it to the core of my being. I believe it so much in fact I may say it multiple times all in a row. Find your people. Get out of that comfy little bubble that you have put yourself in and get out there and get involved!

Over the years I have learned through a lot of trial and error that focusing on the obstacles doesn’t do much good for any part of the situation. It only adds unimaginable size to the issue and gets our head in all kinds of crazy wonky knots. I know you’re saying to yourself that you don’t have time, you don’t like crowds, blah blah blah. Get over it. Get out into the community and find events that you are interested in. Look around in those events and see all of the world changers doing their thing. This next step is scary. Introduce yourself. Oh my gosh, you have to talk and meet people. Ask questions about their passion and their day and what drives them to be here. What you’ll find is not everyone is on the same road but everyone is here showing up to the table. The more we connect in this digital age and find the dreamers, and the do-ers the more we find we aren’t alone and those people can often be the ones who hold us up in the hardest times.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. — Confucius
